Compressed Sofa

Logistics
Vacuum-compressed sofas are rolled and sealed under pressure, collapsing the seat and back cushions into a fraction of their showroom volume. For a European importer, that single change rewrites the economics of every container.
A standard 3-seater might occupy 1.8–2.4 m³ as a fully built unit. After roll-compression and vacuum sealing, the same sofa ships in roughly 0.5 m³. On a 40ft container, that can lift load counts from ~120 units to more than 400 — turning freight from your biggest line item into a manageable one.
Lower volume also means lower warehousing cost and faster restock cycles. For distributors serving multiple EU markets, the ability to hold more SKUs per m² of warehouse is a quiet but powerful margin lever.
Compression did not just cut our freight — it let us stock three times the range in the same depot.
