Terms of Service

1. Scope

These terms apply to quotations, samples and orders for KCK.CASA compressed sofas and related foam products. We sell to businesses — distributors, retailers, contract furnishers and private-label brands — not to consumers. Where a signed sales contract or a proforma invoice states different terms, that document prevails over this page.

2. Quotations

A quotation is valid for 30 days unless it states otherwise, because foam and fabric costs move. Prices are quoted for a named Incoterm and a named quantity band: a different quantity, fabric grade or destination is a different quotation. Unless the quotation says DDP, it excludes import duty, VAT and destination charges.

Prices on this website are not published, because they depend on specification. Trade pricing is issued in writing after we understand the model mix, the fabric and the destination port.

3. Orders

An order exists once we have issued a proforma invoice and you have accepted it in writing. Production starts when the deposit clears. Changes to specification, quantity or artwork after that point may move the delivery date and may be chargeable, depending on how far production has gone.

4. Samples

Sample prices are 1.5× the EXW unit price of the selected model, and the sample charge is credited against your first bulk order of one 40'HQ or more. Samples ship in 7–15 days by international express; the express charge is paid by the buyer.

5. Minimum order

The minimum order is 10 sets per model. Mixed-model containers are possible once each model meets its own minimum, and quantities for a volume programme are agreed per order rather than fixed on this page.

6. Lead times

Bulk production runs 30–40 days after deposit for standard configurations. Custom ODM projects, including prototyping and approval rounds, typically take 45–70 days. These are production windows: ocean transit, customs clearance and inland delivery are additional and depend on the route.

7. Payment

The deposit percentage and the balance trigger are stated in the proforma invoice for your order, together with the receiving account. We do not ask for payment to any account other than the one named on that invoice — if you receive different banking details, stop and call us before paying.

Currency and charges

Quotations are issued in USD unless agreed otherwise. Bank charges outside China are for the buyer's account; charges inside China are ours.

8. Shipping & risk

Risk passes according to the agreed Incoterm. Loading figures published on this site — units per 40'HQ, packed volume, gross weight — are measured on standard configurations and are planning estimates, not a guarantee of the exact count for a mixed or custom load. We will always give you the loading plan for your actual order before shipment.

9. Inspection & claims

Please inspect the goods on arrival. Tell us about shortages, transport damage or specification deviations within 14 days of delivery, with photographs and the carton or container reference, so we can trace the batch. Claims raised later are harder to verify but we will still investigate.

10. Warranty

Every compressed sofa carries a 1-year warranty on foam resilience: if a cushion develops a permanent set beyond the ≤2% specification (ISO 1856), or fails to recover to ≥98% of its dimensions within 48 hours of unpacking at normal room temperature, we replace the affected foam. The warranty does not cover misuse, storage in damp conditions, or normal softening in the fabric.

11. Private label & intellectual property

In OEM and ODM programmes, the brand, labels, hangtags and carton artwork are yours, and you confirm you have the right to use any trademark you ask us to print. Our own designs, moulds and product photography remain ours. We do not reproduce another company's protected design on request.

12. Liability

Our liability for a claim connected to an order is limited to the value of that order. We are not liable for lost profit, lost sales or consequential losses. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China. Disputes go to the competent court in Foshan, Guangdong, unless the sales contract names arbitration instead. In practice most issues are settled by email and a replacement or credit note long before that point.
